WAYS and TRAILS

WELCOME TO WAYS AND TRAILS!

Ways and Trails is the home page for the walking and history guides written by Cameron Black.  There are two books:

The Saint Andrews Way is a long distance walking route that starts from Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, crosses the Firth of Forth, travels through Fife and arrives in Saint Andrews.  The walk covers 115km (71 miles) and follows a modern recreation of a medieval pilgrimage route.  The walk travels through the centre of Fife and makes an ideal circular accompaniment to the Fife Coastal Path

An Antonine Trail follows the remains of Antonine’s Wall across the Scottish Central Belt. From coast to coast the route follows the wall from the River Clyde in the West to the River Forth in the East.  There are too walk variations the full 125km trail or a shorter 91km trail.

The Antonine Trail recently featured in the Sunday Herald and you can read that here.
